WE ARE

Monika started LifeLine in 2007 with a vision to empower under-resourced neighborhoods to thrive. Her passion for Asset Based Community Development has her on a journey to discover the gifts, passions, and abilities of our neighbors and work together to make our neighborhoods better, safer, and more resourceful. Monika is married to Jim for 35 years and during their free time, they enjoy camping and kayaking.  

Angel joined our team in 2021 to assist Monika with administrative tasks and loves the team she gets to work with. Angel is happily married with 2 adult children and two grandchildren. She enjoys time at the beach and super awesome sleepovers with her grandchildren. This feeds her soul. 

Marci leads the team in Winton. She came to us in 2016 through the WEX program. Marci has two teenage boys who are a vital part of our work in Winton. Marci's personal story is a great example for others and her passion to help others is contagious. She and her boys got a chance recently to go flying through the EAA Young Eagles program. 

Frankie leads our Loughborough team. She has been with us since 2017 through the WEX program and is the mom of Eli and Emma. She loves to read, watch scary movies and bake with her kids. Frankie loves engaging with our kids at the center and ensuring that they are safe and enjoy life.  

Destiney came to us through the WEX program and the amazing mom of Eli. Destiney works at the Winton Community Center where her infectious laugh brings joy to everyone. Her gift in gap makes people feel at ease and welcomed. 

Robert came to us in the summer of 2021 to volunteer with us. By the fall we saw his giftedness with young people and he has been an amazing asset to our team. Robert is creative and loves to change the color of his hair every month. 

Lorayn is our newest member of the team starting in 2022 through the WEX program. Lorayn works in the Winton Community Center and brings tons of administrative and creative talent with her. Her optimism is contagious and she brings so much joy to the center. 

LeJanae joined our team in 2020. LJ is a mom of 6 amazing little ones and loves to engage with the community, share her knowledge and help people move forward. When she has time left over she loves to read/rap to her children and come up with creative with to engage. 

Martha is part of our SerJobs teams and we love having her help at the Winton Community Center. Her steadfast work and passion for the community is such an asset to our work. She loves to work with our older population and brings so much joy and experiences with her. 

Hope is one of our SerJobs partners. Her life experiences and her passion to help people gives her many opportunities to engage with people. She loves to care for the elderly and homeless and knows how difficult the road can be. While Hope shares her gifts we are able to train and equip her with technology skills. 

Our partnership with UC Merced College Corps Interns has been such a gift. Their passion and wisdom has taught us all so much. 

We so enjoy having 3 WorkNet Interns with us.  They work in various capacities learning about the non profit world.
