Christmas Letter 2014 - Open Responsibly

What if you could do something

to empower impoverished

neighborhoods

to thrive?

Have you ever worried how best to help people in poverty? Have you wondered how to make your donation, your time, your energy, your gifts count for something?

I invite you to explore LifeLine CDC – a non-profit with a passion to empower impoverished neighborhoods to thrive.

We believe that every person is created in the image of God and that we all have something to contribute to make our world a better place.

We seek the Shalom (peace, well-being) of God in our neighborhoods, by working with the community to empower them to look beyond their needs to their assets.

We also coach, train and equip churches, non-profits, agencies and individuals.

Explore our website. Talk with one of the many volunteers, meet with Monika and invest your life in something bigger than a handout.

Thank you for your support, your gifts and your willingness to be part of seeing God’s Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

How you see things makes all the difference!

You can look at a person and label them as ‘poor’, ‘uneducated’, ‘jobless’ and they will live up to that label as you respond to

his or her ‘needs’ accordingly.

But what if you they see the person as created in God’s image, gifted with skills and abilities uniquely theirs? What if you look for what the person has and not what the person lacks?

IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!

Then you give the homeless person the key to become the person who cares for our trees.

You give the unemployed young man the key to create a community garden.

You give the single mom the key to facilitate learning in a fun and safe environment

YOU CAN HELP OPEN UP POSSIBILITY!

God has given you gifts; skills and resources and you have an opportunity to use them to see Shalom come back into under-resourced neighborhoods.

How can you help?
