Here is how it works:
YOU purchase a gift and donate it to LifeLine CDC. We price
it at 10-20% of the value and put it into the Winton Christmas Store where low-income parents can purchase the gift, wrap it and give it to their child on Christmas.
We found that by giving parents the opportunity to provide for their children it builds their dignity and empowers them to choose the appropriate gift. It also teaches the child that the parent is caring for his well being--not a stranger.
